night and day

In my recent visits to the Vu, this club was pretty dead during the day and early evening with only a few dancers and not many customers. I had heard that the club was hopping after midnight and would typically stay open until 4 or 6AM, depending on the evening. I had the opportunity for a late night visit, around 2AM, and the club was much more lively than earlier in the day.

There was a decent selection of dancers who rotated between the main stage and several satellite stages around the club. Most of the dancers were in the 6-7 range with a few above and below that range.

It is also worth noting that the club was recently reconfigured so that the lap dance area has been moved to a separate room that separates the Vu from Little Darlings (its sister club located in the same building that serves alcohol and has topless dancers). The same set of padded cubicles that had been previously located in the main club, were now clustered in the separate room and served as the private dance area. The newly configured room also had several small rooms that appeared to function as VIP areas for pricier dances. I did not notice ceiling mounted cameras over the lap dance cubicles but I did notice remote monitoring cameras over the VIP areas. One other minor quibble-- the music volume was actually too low in this area, although it made it relatively easy to talk with the dancers.
