Time to knock Rick's down a notch, though it still outpaces any other Seattle-area clubs and the better clubs in most cities. Lots of posts describe the place, so let me focus on what's changed and what hasn't:
I went both daytime and nighttime. As usual, all the good tables are "reserved" until you take them and move the "reserved" sign. The dancers are almost all good at circulating (especially after their sets) and seeing who wants a dance. And this is a highly-variable mileage place.
The negative changes -- a reduction in the percentage of really hot dancers. Still always some, but not the number I remember from a year ago, or two years ago. Also, it seems that mileage is down a bit. Seems like a general slide down -- Oral Roberts is now often reading Henry James or even Tommy Throughthepants. Some discomfort (among newer dancers?) with hands-on lap dancees. There is mileage to be had, but less and less of it.
