Seems to be slipping

I've viewed this club as a steady and solid option for a number of years. The frantic hustle and low value of Vegas clubs always makes them a bit tough to take, and most other places don't have quality LDs. So the no-frills, high mileage environment of Mons has always been like the "old reliable" of strip clubs, and the average quality of girls always seemed to stay in the 7-8 range. This made the small space, lame jukebox and no alcohol tolerable.

But my last trip really punctuated a trend that I've recognized going on for a while now. Mons truly is slipping in the areas that matter most, which is quality of girls and quality of LDs. My last visit in late June - I think I saw about 4-5 girls I found really attractive. Not to say the others were terrible, but most girls blended into an unspectacular 6 or 6.5 range that really isn't the reason you go to strip clubs. But most of all, the LDs here are truly becoming less contact than I can ever recall them being. Light to moderate grinding is now the norm. You might find 2 or 3 girls on a given Fri or Sat night that know how to get their grind on. In the past, there would be a dozen or more girls in the club on any given busy night that were giving top-shelf LDs. Now it's the clear exception as opposed to the norm.

With this being the case, the other drawbacks that Mons always had - small space, etc. - now seem more significant. Mons has certainly not taken a step forward. That is very clear. And it just keeps getting a little worse year by year. Add it up, and it's really starting to become less and less distinguishable from any average SC. Still good dances perhaps, but I'd welcome a new club arriving to beat Mons at its own game (LD factory with hot chicks, no VIP, low hustle)...whether it's in Tampa or anywhere else.
