Day Shift

While Memphis isn't the strip club haven it once was, you can still have a little bit of fun in the clubs nowadays. The laws in Memphis prohibit full nudity, and really any nudity which has put a damper on what was once a vibrant scene. The Gold Club used to be a full contact, topless club where you definitely got your money's worth (and a good bit of money for a dance), and while the dance quality is still good, the amount of girls at the club during the day shift left a lot to be desired.

The Gold Club is situated in a decent part of town, with a bouncer outside to watch the parking lot and the door. Inside the club, you'll find a clean, somewhat upscale atmosphere with all the normal trappings of a strip club including two stages, an upper level for dances and curtained rooms for a little bit of fun.

Granted, I visited on a Sunday during the day, but there were still less than 5 girls working at the time, with most of the girls being in the 4-7 range. After hanging out and enjoying a couple 2 for 1 beers, one of the lovely dancers came and joined me at my table and she was very pleasurable to talk to. The girls aren't overly pushy about getting dances at the club and allow you to relax and enjoy some company and the other girls dancing.
