Jimmy’s Lounge is in cheap looking metal building on Highway 72 next to a new Burger King and a Walmart Supercenter not too far from the airport. I was told that it used to be across the highway, but that it burned down (twice), and then moved to its present location. I pulled into the large, free parking lot out front at about 1:00 p.m.

There was no cover being charged during the day shift. I understand it is $5 at night. The club is fairly large. There is small satellite stage a few feet past the entrance and a large main stage to the right. The lap dance area, which is just an area with some booths and little privacy is to the left. Past that is the bar, and to the right rear is an area with pool tables, seating and cocktail tables scattered around. It’s not fancy, but it’s not a dive either. I would call it mid-tier, my favorite type of place.

There were two regulars at the bar, a slender white bar tender, and a curvy brunette white girl in street clothes. Plus me. Other than that, the place was empty and no one was on stage.
