A moment of silence please....
I drove to this club after attending a mainstream event in the Daytona beach area a week or so ago. The lights were off and no cars around . Then I glanced upward to see their marquee sign had been modified to read “CLOSED”. Later that week I read an article that the city had purchased multiple local businesses near that intersection in an ongoing effort to modify and improve the area with a “traffic circle”.
In their “hay days” as the shark club the back vip area could be quite a scene to behold during their hourly two for one specials. All I can say is lots of legs, two pairs per cubicle protruding into the center of a cramped basic vip room that had about 6-8 cubicles.
I personally will miss the place although I know the Daytona establishment has wanted this place gone for years. Feels again like an older element of the city will be swept away in the name of “progress”.
