I visited Carls relatively early on a Saturday evening after a long absence. I was put off by the first two dancers that approached me - the first because I didn't really want to hear about her boyfriend who is currently in prison; the second because she qyoted $20 per dance. The second quickly came down to $10 after I balked at the cost. But sensing a lousy $10 dance, I passed. Then hooked with with a dancer named Cindy who gave good dances for $10 bucks each. Not high contact, but at least she was "into" the dance.
