Wednesday Afternoon at Lace

This review is from a visit a couple of weeks ago. I have visited a number of the clubs in the Lace family, but this was my first visit to the Manhattan location in a little over a year. Lace is located a few blocks from Times Square, in the heart of the theater district.

I got there at around 2:30, paid for the obligatory bag check, and entered the club. Bathrooms and VIP are located upstairs. The main part of the club has a small stage near the door. There are some tables and chairs in the middle of the room and padded benches along the walls.

When I walked in, I noticed that the club was very dark. It took a long time for my eyes to adjust. There were about 6 dancers, ranging from 6-8, and one or two other customers that drifted in and out during the 90 minutes I was there.
