PM is good, but outside the city is usually better

I lives down the street from Pink Monkey for years, but only managed to make it over there maybe 4-5 times. For the best time I went (this review), it was a pretty good time, but still some to be desired. First off, I'd recommend not walking home over there, area is pretty dark and not worth the risk. Second, it's BYOB, except beer (don't even bother trying....). They have it setup that the bar next door will sell you a bottle of booze at a high upcharge, which most people do. Bathroom situation is ok, but I have seen a dude jerkin it in there, so not cool. It's to the left of the stage.

Cover is like $20 during the week early evenings, otherwise it's $30. ATM in the lobby and upstairs. When you go in, you'll see it's not very big. Smaller stage, smaller bar, and the seating arrangement is a bunch of tables scattered around the area. Bouncers are strict, so be careful. I've been slapped for touching where I shouldn't. The front stage the girls do their dances on the poll, but nothing too raunchy, so don't get excited. The main floor "private" area is basically a booth with a drape ($20-$30 for those too, not really worth it). There are 3 of those, and you'll usually share it with another dance. Girls are aggressive, which is actually cool. I've had a lot of fun with some of those girls, and they'll even drink with you given the chance. For the work time I went there, we actually did order food, but wouldn't say it's the place to eat. Just eat before you go and buy a bottle of booze. You need to buy a minimum of 3 fountain drinks while inside, which they don't really enforce. Exact price was $5-$10 for those, but if you're buying dances, they won't hound you.

The "VIP" area isn't very VIP at all, shared area with bouncers walking around, though it's away from the main stage, which is nice. Those get pricy too, in the $100s if you want, but still, not totally private.
