I stopped in at the Deja...

I stopped in at the Deja Vu after not having been there for a couple of months. It was a weekday evening and there were more cars than usual in the parking lot...a good sign. I stayed for a couple of hours and there were quite a few dancers, about 20-25. Both stages were going and there seemed to be fewer than the usual number of interruptions to clean mirrors and poles. The dancers seemed to be generally in a good mood and were not persistent when you declined to get dances. As usual there was a wide range of talent, generally in the 6-8 range; nothing spectacular, but it kept my attention. My only gripe continues to be the annoying lighting, like some 70's disco, flashing in your eyes and just distracting enough to not be able to fully focus on the talent.
