Hiliter is back but feels different

I walked in after work around 6pm. I had been there since all the changes after the raid and was surprised to find the parking lot almost completely full. Similarly, inside I absolutely could not find a place to sit. There were open chairs in the middle of the room, but all of the tables were occupied by at least one other patron. The seats along the wall were about half occupied by dancers on their phones. Same story at the bar. Finally a girl got off her chair by the wall and I grabbed it.

And, that pretty much summarizes my impression of the visit to the club - busy, busy, busy and then settle for what you get. I got a few single, forgettable dances. Met one girl who was cute and fun to talk to. Followed her to VIP for a few dances. She said there was a good manager that day and the usual Hiliter experiences were still available. I declined, but it is interesting that nothing seems to really change at Hiliter.

All that said, the days of super hotties who were willing to be engaging and seductive seem to have been replaced with matter of fact business transactions. Also, the different styles of dancing and outfits seem to have disappeared into an environment of clones. It actually feels a bit like Bourbon Street. I'll try it again in a few months, but I don't like fighting the crowd for such an uninspiring show.
