I never thought I'd live to see the day, but Alex's has finally added 2 VIP dance areas. These are actually "champagne rooms" and it works like this: If you want a bottle of champagne it's $30/half hour or $50/hour for the room, $75 for the champagne, if you don't want the champagne it's $60/half hour or $100/hour for the room and then you just pay regular price for the drinks. It appears each girl has a different opinion of what their time is worth so be sure to negotiate prior to going in...the going rate should be about $200/hour...the advantage, if you will, is that you get the girl all to yourself in a relatively private area on a nice loveseat and no one stepping all over you like you do if you get a regular dance...the downside is that these rooms eliminated a lot of area in the already sparse dancing area so if you want to get a dance but you don't want the VIP rooms, well, expect real cramped quarters, especially when they have a feature.
