Not much has changed in the afternoon

Babes has fallen down and cannot get up. That is a pretty accurate way to describe Babe's Showclub, at least during the day time. I went on a recent Tuesday, not too long after they opened. I may have been there before any of the dancers decided to show up. I still got my bucket of beer and was on the 3rd before anyone took the stage.

Babe's is just a tired place stuck in an area where there are 2 other better clubs on the same street. I see that recent reviews paint a pretty good picture for later hours, but in the day it is still very slow. They have made an effort to bring in new dancers and weed out the 40-50 year old ones. But for my money, I think I will be spending it up the street.
