A lesson on why reading reviews is important

Follies is truly a lesson on why reading reviews can make or break an experience. If you want the experience that is legendary on this board you need to know how. Learn from some of the masters (and by now means am I referring to myself). When I first learned work was sending me to Atlanta, I knew a pilgrimage to Follies was destiny. What I didn't know is how much reading reviews was going to mean because I will be honest mistakes were avoided and avoidable mistakes were made.

When you first drive up to Follies it is actually relatively unassuming. It is in my opinion a medium sized club. In fact they have had problems with the Fire Marshall recently so if you get there at the wrong time, you are going to be standing in line waiting for other PLs to come out so you can go in. Now I am not sure if the valet saw my out of state plates rental car but parking for me was 10 during the weekday and 20 nights and weekends. In the three times I went I never got 5/10$ forced valet.

Timing is everything at Follies. I have to admit, I didn't believe it from the reviews but truly it is. You have to get to Follies early in the day shift if you want the experience you read about. This place fills up quickly and as soon as it does you will be lucky to find a seat and most likely will be standing around the walls perving, wishing it was you. I went Thursday night and place was packed. I was shocked but I should of believed what I read ... this is the norm for night shift. Friday I went within the first hour they opened ... bingo. Got a high top table corner seat and that is when the true Follies experience happened for me. I sampled great dances all afternoon. Saturday mid afternoon ... again place was packed and I spent a lot of time standing around.
