A Real Dive

Visited for the first time on a Saturday evening after dinner with some friends. I was flying solo. Parking lot looked fuller than the few other times Ive driven past, so I thought maybe a decent crowd. Walked in, and it was like stepping into a time machine. This place hasn't been updated since it was opened decades ago. And this is a real "regulars" place. Almost had that feeling of the needle dragging across the record and everyone looking up at you as you walk in.

There were maybe 4 girls there, but since this is a regulars place, they tended to stay with who they knew. I sat at the bar and had a couple reasonable beers. Bartender was friendly and scantily clad. No real dancing action, save for a couple of times one dancer got up to strut her "stuff", which wasn't worth strutting.

I doubt I'd go back, there are too many other places in the general area between Cleveland and Akron.
