WTF?

I have been taking a break from the clubs for the most part lately but last month I was near shimmers and stopped in for a drink. Not too much going on but there were a few cute girls, mostly engrossed in conversation with regulars around the bar. The only problem is no one was dancing! Finally one girl begrudgingly went up and gave her least. I was approached by a girl who I was attracted to but she reeked of perfume and wore too much sparkly makeup. (I hate sparkles). We chatted for a bit and I went to the rack to watch her set but it was very tame and very dressed. Obviously no one wanted to do private dances that night. Another girl tried to strike up a conversation but her turn came up to dance. She was attractive so I thought we could get something going. She started her dance and I put $2 on the rack but she kept saying something to me I couldn't figure out (she had a strong accent) and was pointing at the guy at the other end of th stage. I finally realized since he put down $3 she wanted me to match him. By this time the 1st song was almost over and I hadn't even seen a nipple yet. Then she said if I wanted her to take anything off I needed to put down more money and go get her a drink at the bar. I went to the bar to talk with a different girl who appeared there. Best looking one so far and nice. We chatted for a few minutes and she said she was down for some dances if I'd wait for her while she went and smoked with her friends. Fuck all that. I was done with shimmers for the night. I've had nice Thursday nights there before but not so much this time. Too bad, I was up for some dances.
