The "New" Blue Zebra

Well well well! This was predicted by many almost a year ago, and it finally happened. This club recently decided to try to become "upscale", but all they did to change anything was raise the dance prices. Slowly but surely, the place slipped into decline, no customers, and thus, very few not too hot dancers. But now they've realized they screwed up, that a fairly obscure location with no moneyed clientele nearby will not do well at high prices when there are much cheaper, way more "happening" clubs nearby, so they've lowered their prices, and created some interesting and attractive daily specials. Now they have to start hiring better girls, and slowly they'll return to the world of popularity! So far, the girls they're hiring are whatever walks in the door, and many girls who were finally thrown out of their former clubs for forever causing trouble are now working here (and slowly starting to cause the same type of trouble). I hope the club wises up.

I was in here a couple of times in the past week or so, and some girls were great while others were not, but the club is still kinda dead. I was there tonight (Tuesday) from 9:15 to 10:30, and although there were a few girls sitting around, and a few customers in the room, the stage remained empty for most of the time, with only two dancers being put up during that whole hour and a quarter. That kind of club management will surely not attract any customers or good dancers.

Admission is now basically free all day and night, with a one drink minimum ($6), so it's not a big deal to check it out once in a while. I will be checking in every once in a bit, and hopefully the next time I write something about it, it will be more positive.
