Paper Moon South Side - June 4th, 2018

I was travelling for work and needed to stay over in Richmond for the night. Paper Moon South Side was about a mile and a half from my hotel so I called a cab and went over to check it out. There were 5 girls working that night, ranging from a 6 to an 8, maybe a 9 if I had drank a bit more. The club itself was nice, all the staff that I encountered was friendly, but, as it was a Monday night, it was fairly empty. I think there may have been 3 or 4 other customers in the entire place for the night until around 1 AM where 5 more guys showed up out of nowhere.

Good things - They had liquor!!!! I repeat, this topless club had liquor and I did not have to go to another part of the club to get it or drink it. Now, it was only some pre-determined mixed drinks that used either rum, vodka, or tequila, and they were a bit pricey, but halle-fuckin-lujah I got a drink at a club in Virginia. It apparently was a fairly new thing that they were being allowed to test out so you may have to ask a manager or get friendly with a dancer (as I did - thank you Lucky) to be able to get in on it, but there you have it. Also, they had $3 Dos Equis on special so make sure you check out the drink specials. I ordered one and had no idea it was on special, so that was a nice surprise. As I said above, all of the staff was friendly and accommodating, even the bartender on her first night who had a personal emergency and had to leave for a bit. All of the dancers were quite pretty, but none were smoke shows, however all of the ones I got a chance to talk to were super friendly. The club itself felt welcoming and was in good shape.

Bad things - Private dance prices. They are high, just like everywhere in Virginia ($10 per minute for topless two-way contact), but it is what it is. They did offer 5 drinks with a 30 minute dance, which Chanel and I fully took advantage of to get ourselves some of those mixed drinks. Nice little compensation for the over priced dances.
