Long time between visits.........will be longer before the next visit

I had not visited Mardi Gras in a long time, so as I was traveling down 285 decided to make a stop. Arrived around 7:30 PM and while I knew this was early, I was expecting more than what they were offering. Parking was free as well as admittance, so that was good. It also turned out to be the highlight.

Entered the club and the bar on the lower level was crowded with 5 customers and 5 dancers. I was thinking this would be good. I stood off to the side of the bar and the bar tender did not even look in that direction for 15 minutes so did not get a drink. There are two small stages by the bar and no one was dancing. The main stage had girls dancing and I walked into that room.

Two tables were active with dancers and customers - so some were having fun. Not so here. I took a seat and a waitress came up to ask me what I wanted to drink. I asked if they had any non-alcoholic beer and she told me they did, but did not know the brand. She checked and came back with a brand I had never heard about, but it really made no difference. The waitress was all tatted up and on the 10 point scale would probably rate a 2.
