Talent making an uptick

I went here after work last Thursday, and even though there was plenty of space in the parking to (my usual indicator of whether to go in or not), I was glad that I made the trip inside.

For those of you who haven’t been here before, Sugar 44 is a tiny club. Immediately when you walk in, you will be at the bar area. But if you come here during the day, expect to wait a few minutes by the front to allow your eyes time to adjust. It is dark here - not quite Bourbon Street dark, but dark still the same.

Bottled water (my drink of choice) are $5 a piece for a small (16 ounce?) bottle. Beers cost $6 a piece. I am not sure of the price of mixed drinks. If you get here early enough, you can avoid a coverage charge. (I made it here at about 5 pm). Table dances are $10 each, and VIP dances are $20 a piece plus there is a one time charge of $20 for a bracelet for VIP admission.
