Slow as a library

I was in Charleston for business and got done a bit early so stopped by the silver slipper to check it out. I got there shortly after they opened. On the positive side there was no cover charge and they offered free hotdogs and some other snacks plus they had sports playing on all the big screens. However the place was also dead as it could be. I was there for at least an hour before I saw one dancer and even then she pretty much was hustling drinks. Eventually the dancer did get on stage and did a fairly good set, she was average in looks but wasn't very responsive even though I was the only customer who was at the tip rail and I was tipping. After the only dancer finished her set she tried to get me to buy a private dance, once I said no she disappeared again. The waitress kept telling me that more dancers would show up soon. I waited around for another hour but no other dancers showed up and the one I had already seen didn't take the stage again. So after about two and a half hours I left. I can't say what the place would be like later once things finally got going but it was pretty much a library in the afternoon.
