Similar to the other clubs in the RGV

This was my second time going to Xoticas, now having lived in the RGV (Rio Grande Valley) for the past 6 weeks. The club is right next to a Taco Bell off the freeway. Parking is either valet or for free in the dirt lot. I took a Lyft so I could drink without worry. Cover was $10. The club is clean and consists of two levels, with the top level reserved for VIP action. I got a beer at the bar and sat a few rows back from the main stage. After a while a Latina dancer (they are all Latina here in the RGV) struck up a conversation. Honestly, she seemed a little high. After the chit chat about local living she asked if I wanted a dance, which I declined as I had just got to the club. After about 30 mins I went to the bar and ordered another beer and sat there. A dancer next to me from Venezaula struck up a conversation in very broken English. Now, this is something that you're just going to have to get used to - a lot of dancers in this area don't speak English. Which can be very problematic if you're getting a dance and they hustle you for extra dances by just dancing and not explaining that the dance ended. I busted out the Google Translate app on my iphone and we started to communicate by typing on it back and forth. I got a dance from her, but was not satisfied. She was robotic and the fact that she couldn't speak English made it a silent dance, which was awkward to say the least. I also didn't like the layout of the club, nothing egregious but just not my taste. I probably won't go back unless I'm giving an out of town friend a tour of all the local clubs. The dancers were nothing special, neither here nor there. Beer was also on the more expensive side for RGV strip clubs at $6 per bottle, whereas in other places I've been to it was $4.25 to 5. Having now been to Xoticas, Texmex, and Stilettos all multiple times I would rate Stilettos as the best of the lot both in terms of layout of the club and quality of dancers.
