Some changes, but not for the better

I hadn't been to the Palace for close to a year, but I noticed when I walked in that they finally gave in and added stripper poles on the stage. Formerly, there was just a couch/loveseat on the mainstage and most of the girls never even got close to it; can't say I blame 'em, that couch could probably use a good Febreze-ing.

The Palace is one of the few places I ever order food, and I've always had good luck. The club sandwich and fries were really good, better than I've had in most sit-down restaurants, so that's still a plus.

However, the Palace used to be home to the prettiest girls in any San Antonio club. It was kinda rare to even see a tattoo on their dancers, but time has eroded that high standard somewhat. The girls are still attractive, but not stunning, and there's definitely some ink to be seen. Still not many dancers on the lunchtime schedule, so it can be tough to get one's attention if there are more than a couple of customers.

Palace gals take their tops off, but unfortunately are bound by SA's stupid latex law, so it ruins the image of a nice pair of titties.

I've never gone to the upstairs VIP section, because the price is ridiculous, especially in the daytime. I didn't even ask about it this time. If you get dances in the chairs over by the mirrored wall by the bathrooms, they're 20 bucks, but pretty nice mileage. One blonde had no problems with me sucking the latex right off her nipples and rubbed (and put her mouth on) my unit through my jeans. I'm sure there are plenty of extras available up those pricey stairs, but I can get extras much cheaper at a couple of other clubs. The Palace was my go-to place for hot-looking women in the past, but their standards are definitely heading southward. Maybe those poles were a bad idea?
