Not the Arnie’s I Remember - But Still A Good Time
I’m not from the area, and hadn’t been to Arnie’s in several years. But, yesterday I was in the area and had the time, so I decided to stop in for a couple hours. I got there shortly after 8 pm on a Saturday.
From the outside, I couldn’t tell that anything had changed. Still a group of guys hanging out outside, one of them to collect the $20 cover. I hadn’t done any research, so I’m hoping the $20 cover is standard here.
The customers there were a real mixed, diverse crowd. Black, white, Hispanic guys. One even appeared Asian. Most everyone was sitting around the bar, but a few were scattered at some of the high tables near the bar. The layout of the place hadn’t changed. Walk in, and bar is on the right, stage is in front of you. A couple dance rooms are still there. The one behind the bar hasn’t changed. It’s much more private than the other one next to the dancers’ dressing room. That dance room used to be much more private, but now it’s very much wide open, well lit, and anyone sitting at the bar could pretty much observe any dance going on anywhere in this room. While I was there, I noticed zero dances happening in that room.
There were about 8-10 dancers, all ebony. Most were thin to nicely built. Only one would be what I’d call a bbw. That’s a departure from what I remember about Arnie’s.
Anyway, a very cute young dancer, Cherrie (?), came and sat with me at the bar. She was quite pretty and had a hot body. After awhile, she offered 2 dances for $30, which I took advantage of. It was a fully nude dance, great grindage, my hands pretty much everywhere. Didn’t inquire about extras, but I get the impression they might not be offered anymore. Say it ain’t so!
