The Ballpark Tavern has a very unique vibe. It was almost like stepping into a time machine. I imagine this place is what most clubs were like in the 70s/80s. It has a very depressing feel as you enter into the antiquated facility. When you walk in, there is a mediocre pool table to the right and the bar/stage is to your left. This club is on the smaller side, I can't imagine more that 25-30 patrons would fit inside. Lighting is dim, necessary to hide to uncleanliness.

The dancers are not at the level you would see at a finer establishment. Most are older and seem like they have had a rough go at life. They are friendly and easy to talk to. They know why they are there. There are a few attractive dancers, but lets be honest, take any normal girl and show some skin and they all start to look good. The ones that aren't attractive are the ones that have had some kind of substance abuse issues currently or in the past. Kids - don't do drugs. This place could be a "scared straight" for the local school DARE program. When I visited, there was about 5-6 dancers on shift. Of those, maybe 2 I found somewhat attractive.

Beers were around $5-$6. Full bar here. No cover charge. There was a sign on the wall that said couch dances were $20. Overall, I would consider this place a budget strip club. But you pay for what you get. The real reason most guys come here are for the dances. Most dancers provide very high mileage dances. Tip amounts vary, but I tipped $80 on top of the dances and was satisfied with the mileage. Then I felt disgusted with myself after.
