Great visit, in spite of overall talent decline

Over the past six months, I have been very impressed with the dancer quality at the Flight Club (FC)-- mostly, in shape, slender women from a range of ethnic backgrounds. Many of these dancers were "transplants" from FC's sister club, Penthouse, which was closed for remodeling. Now that Penthouse, has reopened, I was curious to see what the talent was like at FC. About half of the dancers were very attractive but the other half ranged from large, to thick and even to pudgy. This is a marked change from prior visits when maybe 10% of the dancers would fall into this category (thick, heavy, pudgy). Fortunately, it was relatively easy to recruit the attention of the more attractive women who performed on stage.

After declining the company of a few thicker women who stopped by my table, I tipped an attractive, slender women on stage and invited her to join me. She did so after her three song stage rotation. A strawberry blond with a nicely toned body, she was young but lots of fun to talk with. Turned out that she was a movie fan, so we talked about favorite movies for a while. In metro Detroit, it is pretty common to negotiate details of a private dance (expectations and price) beforehand, but I decided to invite her for a private dance without "pre negotiating." She was hot enough that I'd have been happy with just a dance, and not extra fun. Turned out that she was young, but not naive and she was very focused on "customer service." Great private dance session and I left happy.

The take home point is that the FC talent has taken a turn for the worse (or at least diversity of body type), at least if this afternoon visit was any indication. Fortunately, there is still a reasonable selection of attractive dancers and a range of different body styles (for those with a taste for thick women). FC is still one of my favorite metro Detroit clubs because of the upscale ambience, the private VIP areas and the availability of some attractive dancers.
