I visited Treasures for the first...
I visited Treasures for the first time in a zillion years around 10:30 on a Monday evening. Treasures is a really quite lovely facility; finished in wood paneling, comfy chairs, and, wait for it, washrooms that more like they're out of the Bellagio than a Toronto area strip club. The dancers were very attractive; I try not to give in to hyperbole, but I'd say that each one of the 15 or so that I saw was someone's 10. The continuous stage show had a fair audience of mostly businessmen, and the dancers performed to fully nude, although no one tossed a blanket on the floor for the final number, as had been the norm in previous years.
On the scale from 'uncomfortably persistent' to 'am I invisible or what', the attention was very modest, possibly because I sat upstairs, with a good view of both the stage and the hockey game. One dancer joined me for several minutes of very pleasant conversation, and then left without specifically tabling the standard lap dance offer. That was a first, I think.
Another really nice person who happened to be a dancer joined me a few moments later, and told me that dances were $20; there was 'semi-private' accommodations in one corner of the upper level which attracted a '$20 plus taxes' cover charge, a VIP section that offered 4 rooms with doors for $60 and a $300/1 hour minimum for the dancer, and, thirdly, a more open area. Then Annie told me that area was really quiet, and that the dance would be about the same anyhow, so that was the best value. I gave that a whirl, and enjoyed a most pleasant time, during which, to be honest, Annie's friendly, delightful demeanor managed to overshadow her considerable physical charms and proximity. In another life, I would have loved to have brought her home to meet my mother, or, better still, my wife:)
