Slow Wednesday

So I've been to this club a few times now over the past 2 years or so. I'd unfortunately have to say my most recent visit was the worst. It may be that I was there in the middle of the week, or I don't know if any rules have changed or anything, but it really just seemed very unwelcoming this time around. Driver's license wasn't scanned this time, which was nice, but I don't care too much one way or another. I walked in, took at seat at one of the little round tables, and got a beer from one of the nice waitresses. The wait staff has always been very cool here. That's about where the niceties stopped. The dozen or so dancers that were around didn't seem interested in the slightest to visit around the room. They just did their set at the stages, then talked amongst themselves, went back to a regular, or disappeared in the back. From the last couple times I was here, I was expecting the same kind of attention as before, when the dancers would come around and try to talk you into a dance or at least just hang out a bit. This time, nothing. I stayed for about 90 minutes, handed out some singles at the stages, then split. I can't complain about the place itself. Still a good atmosphere, I like the lighting and the stages, and several of the dancers are very talented with actually fun to watch routines. Only rating the dancers low this time because of their level of service, not their looks or talent, which were just dandy. Just this time around, when it came to one-on-one attention, it was a total dud.

I'll chalk it up to a bad vibe visit, and cross my fingers for next time.
