6/5/06 – I finally made my first trip to Teasers after 3 unsuccessful tryandfindit drive-bys early on a weekend morning when I was sure there would be no traffic. It really is hard to find – even with the excellent directions on Teasers web site. Just take the first left turn into the parking lot from Ramseur after the intersection with W. Chapel Hill St. Then go just past the middle of the lot and look for the Teasers sign on the buildings. For those wary of venturing into downtown Durham, it is quite safe. There really is very little traffic or people evenings and weekends. Although the opening time is listed as 7 pm do not plan on getting in much before 7:30 as they run behind. Dancers started around 7:30. The place is quite nice and well ventilated. The Manager and Bartender were very friendly as well as the Dancers. The Dancers I saw were all very attractive. The stage is at floor level and if sitting near the stage, you may get a mini-lap event during a 3-dance set. Very few customers were in early, so the tips then are greatly appreciated. Individual dances are $25 and around the outside edge of the facility. Not too private but no one seems to care. Will visit again soon and report more.
