Lights Out!
I could also have titled this "In the dark" because the management kept the lights so low on the stage, there could have been penises up there and we might not have noticed.
I may be wrong about this but I think the guy in charge thought the girls that evening weren't too attractive and it was better if we didn't see them clearly. I have never seen poorer lighting on a strip club stage. From what I could see, some of the ladies weren't all that attractive but some were and the lights only got slightly brighter on them. What's the point of nude dancers when they're clothed in darkness?
I got in on a pass. I spent eight bucks on a beverage and tip. I threw maybe $10 more up on the stage in tips. I didn't tip more not because I'm cheap and not because the women weren't working hard but because I did not have a ringside seat and with the club so dark, it was awkward to keep finding my way between the other tables and chairs to reach the stage. I felt really clumsy in there and that's not a good mood to be in when you're supposed to be getting aroused by lovely women. Then again, who can be aroused by lovely women you can't see?
