Better than Expected

Found myself in Central Phoenix with an open schedule after 1100, so I ran by Hi-Liter for a quick visit. Sadly, none of the dancers I have heard about on this site were in house. Pickings looked slim, so started toward Bandaids for some stress relief. I saw a good review detailing lack of privacy in VIP, so I opted for a first time visit to Chicas with low expectations.

Arrived at 1210 and was ushered in by door guy stating no cover. Bar is to the right, tables to the left with stage in middle, elevated seating leading to glass walled VIP room, and finally partitioned of seats for floor dances on right side just past bar. DJ booth at back of stage facing bar and floor dance area.

At first only 3 dancers, but 5 more filtered in over the next two hours. 2 Latin, 1 AA, and the rest Cubans with very limited English skills. Never more customers than dancers during my 3 hour visit.

Bottled beer $5 and soda/water $5 also. Didn't inquired on mixed drinks (sorry). Got drink from bar as bartender only one on duty.

Floor dances are $10 done along wall facing stage and dj booth on cushioned bench seats with 4/5 foot high dividers. A note.....chairs at tables are brutally hard on the buns, so a trip for a good dance is both refreshing to your lap and your rear !!! VIP dances $20 plus $25 to go in VIP.
