The Truth About This Club
Truth is Detroit’s newest strip club. It is located at the same address that originally was Scores Detroit, and later became Silver Reign. Both of the previous clubs at this address had failed.
I decided to check the club out and report back with all the details for other Detroit TUSCLers that may have been curious about this club. I arrived at the club around 9:00 on a Saturday evening. Valet parking is $10 and the night time cover charge is also $10.
Once inside the club, the main bar is immediately to your left. A few staff and at least one dancer was sitting at the bar when I walked in. There were plenty of open seats at the bar, but none of them were a good spot to sit and watch the stage. I scanned the room to get a good look at the main floor layout and see what the options are for seating. The stage is right in the middle and it is a big stage. There are 3 poles, one at each end and one in the middle. The poles extend all the way to the ceiling, which I estimate to be about 20 feet. There was one dancer on stage at my arrival. There were 4 small tables pushed up against the stage, with 2 on each side. To each side of the stage are 2 rows of booth seating with the booths farthest from the stage being on a floor that is slightly raised up so customers sitting in those booths won’t have an obstructed view of the stage. There are 2 small stages, each with a pole, located along the booth seating, one to each side. These mini stages were not in use at my arrival. On the wall facing the south end of the club is a big TV screen which broadcasts sporting events. Towards the west end (club entrance and main bar are on the east end) of the main floor is a smaller bar, which was not in use at this moment. Towards the left of that bar is a doorway that looks like it leads to the kitchen. To the right is the bathrooms. Also to the right, at the very end of the second row of booth seating is the DJ booth. Right between the bathrooms and the DJ booth is the staircase to the upstairs level. The upstairs level is an open area with lots of small tables scattered along a railing so customers seated up there can watch all the action happening on the main stage on the lower level. The upstairs level went along the walls facing east, west and north, with the only side not covered being the big screen TV wall. No customers were seated upstairs at this time.
