After reading the reviews on this site I was very unimpressed with Mons and other Tampa clubs in general. What the reviews don't make clear is how small Tampa clubs are and how they don't offer anything other than the quick-fix "wanna dance" brigade. Mons is certainly better than 2001 Odyssey with some nice looking girls. On a Saturday when I went though it was heaving, nowhere to sit, not possible to get to the stage to tip and no alchohol left me distinctly unimpressed. A couple of nice girls gave me some nice dances (2 songs for $50) but the atmosphere was not good so I left before midnight. God knows how packed it got after that!
