I visited 2001 (formally one of my favorite clubs) last week. They have limited free parking. I have been here probably three times in the last two years, so there was no big cosmetic change. This club (which is right across the street from Mon’s Venus) is all chrome, mirrors and neon on the outside and inside. You go into the theatre through an interlock. There are warnings about age limits, carrying weapons, presenting identification and that no sex acts are permitted. The $6 price of admission get you a soft drink. The theatre is brightly lit with the bar at the entrance and the stage in the center. The girls are high end and money hungry. There is no peace. Since all the money transactions go on in the back rooms, instead of rotations, the DJ asks for volunteers to go on stage to dance. The back rooms consist of private rooms with black sheer curtains on both sides. Prices are $10 to the house plus $25 per song or $60 for three songs, which also includes your choice of a hat or shirt. The contact is quite good. If you reach for something that is out of bounds, they will suggest that you go upstairs for $200 to the house plus a $150 tip. There touching, and more, is encouraged. For $400 to the house and an undisclosed tip, you get a private VIP room with a locking door. I was upstairs a couple of times, in the distant past, but was disappointed. My friends tell me, with the right person, it is well worth it. I have no personal knowledge of the private room but I’m sure anything goes. I went back for a dance with a lovely lady who made me an offer I could not refuse. It was very high contact. Since I wound up with three dances I got the discount to $60 and a cap without asking. A friend approached me with a Philippine girl. He told me I had to try her because she was just my type. Never one to argue. I when imminently to the back room with her. She offered a hand job for $150 provided I could complete within three songs. She brought her own lube and I did. I gave her $220. $20 each for three songs plus the $150 plus a $10 tip. She was notably thrilled. I also received a shirt. I was not disappointed until I found out on the ride home that the $150 included everything and that my friend negotiated down to $125 for everything including the shirt.
