Mini-review/status report

Have seen a number of reviews reporting on a negative trend, which I have observed as well. I had a very nice visit this Saturday afternoon, so I think a positive review is in order. Arrived about 2:30. Parking lot looked only about 30% full. Paid the usual $5 for valet parking. Cover was the usual $5 weekday rate. There was a new, very cute pat down girl. More clubs really ought to use cute girls for this function (instead of fhe usual burley meathead bouncer). It sets a nice tone before you even get inside.

As expected from the light parking outside, there was also a light crowd inside. There were a good number of dancers inside, as usual very hard to estimate because Follies is pretty small, and dancers split their time roaming around, hanging out by the door, primping in the back or the restroom, or entertaining in the VIP rooms, but my guess was there were around 50. As usual, a good number of dogs, and a heavy representation of Cubans and AA, but also a good number of white spinners, more so than I have seen on my last couple of visits. I spotted a cutie I hadn’t seen in a while, got some dances, and then went for a very enjoyable VIP session.

When I got out of VIP, the crowd was picking up, although nowhere close to capacity (in my view a very good thing), and more, high quality dancers were coming in, but alas, I had expended most of my funds and energy, so I soon departed. All in all, a very nice visit.
