Return to Roanoke

This review is of a visit to Treasure. Club - Gold and Silver on Saturday April 7, 2018 from about 9 to 11 pm. I was unexpectedly in Roanoke that night, having taken a long detour to avoid driving all day in a spring snowstorm and decided to take another look at Treasure Club. I had been there just about a year previously. Now it has a bit more than a year under the Treasure Club ownership, which also I believe has 3 other clubs in the Carolinas. I will concentrate here on comparisons with the previous visit.

This is a “membership” club. The big sign outside says “Membership club, memberships at door”.

However if you were from “out of town” they waived the membership requirement. Living about 100 miles away I qualified as out of town and only had to pay $10 and not the extra $15 to become a member. The previous year I had been required to become a member. They looked at my ID and wrote my name on a list which they then had me sign by my name. This was new this visit, I suppose some legal requirement. I’ve seen a similar sign-in procedure in some West Virginia clubs. Also new this time was a security scan with wand.
