sinclair's Review
This review will summarize several Saturday night visits to Bigfoot Lounge. The building looks like it could have been a restaurant in the past. There is a $5 cover charge. The bar is along the wall to the right as you enter. Sincweisers were $4. There are three stages spread out across the main room. Each stage has a short railing surrounding it, making stage contact not as seamless as it should be. There were two or three stages in operation at any given time depending on the number of dancers present. Dancers would dance on each stage for two songs then rotate to the next. Contact at the stage is minimal and dancers do not strip anything off since only bikini clubs are permitted in Rockford. There was a DJ, but there was also a jukebox on the wall for presumably slower nights. No food is served except for $9 pizzas that can be heated in small oven. Happy Hour is from 15:00 to 18:00 on Sundays through Thursdays. All drinks are $1 off.
There were nine dancers working one Saturday, and the next Saturday there were twelve dancers. The Bigfoot Lounge serves up a healthy salad bowl of Caucasian, African-American, and Hispanic dancers. Dancers generally range between a 3 and an 8.5. There is no tip walk at the Bigfoot Lounge like there is for Tiger Tail bar patrons.
Private dances are $25 each and take place in a separate room that is darker. This price point is too much of a gouge, considering you are not even going to see a titty. Bikini dances should never be more than $10 or $15 in my opinion.
