Exceeded Expectations
I visited this club on the last night during my stay in the Tampa Bay Area. I visited Mons Venus the night before, and originally planned to go to this club the same night, but all my lap dance energy was spent at Mons, which caused me to postpone a visit to this club until the following evening.
I arrived at the Odyssey around 9:45pm on a Friday evening. Just like Mons Venus across the street, the parking lot was small, but the building itself looked like it was a little bit bigger than Mons. I managed to find a parking spot right by the club entrance.
I went inside and the woman at the door explained to me that the club does not serve alcohol, but is full nude and full contact. I paid the $20 cover charge and proceeded into the club’s main area. Immediately to the right as I walked in was the juice bar. I made a stop there to order a bottled water, which was $5. I then grabbed a seat at an open table near the stage. There were maybe about 7 other customers in the club at my arrival. 2 were sitting at the stage while the others were scattered across tables. This place seemed more spacious than Mons with more available seating for customers. Unlike Mons across the street, Odyssey does have a DJ. He was hardly noticeable as he would only speak to let dancers know when their stage set is ending and let other dancers know when they are due on stage. It was noticeable when he spoke as the song playing would get cut off entirely whenever he spoke. The setup at Odyssey must not allow the DJ to talk and the music to play at the exact same time.
