Scuttlebum
I've driven by the club on I-10 several times. I thought it was closed...permanently. There were never any cars around during the day, early evening, night. And then I saw the open sign and I had an opportunity to visit.
*Sigh*
I know it was Friday night, but it was before 8 and they had a doorman. $5 cover and an ID check. The velvet rope was dropped and it didn't get better. It was smoky from the girls cause there was only 1 other patron. One white girl and 2 or 3 black girls milling about. Nobody on stage. I got a drink for $8.5. There was one girl in the front row playing on her phone and a patron in the row back with a girl. I sat down and waited, and waited, and waited. The DJ is walking the room getting a head count and as he comes by, shakes my hand and says that they'll get some girls on stage. He did that. One song sets. Nothing removed and certainly no stage presence for most. There was nothing memorable. A sweet young thing named Shelly did sit down with me. She had been there about a week as her first dancing job. I don't know if she'd dropped her top yet. None of the other dancers did while I was there.
It looked like it was couch lap dances from the 90's for $25 on couches along the wall. No touching was stated. I didn't partake and made it an early night. Perhaps I'll go once more and expect about the same.
