Maybe this one will make it...
This club is the latest in a series of clubs at this location: Shenanigans, Hush, La Perla and maybe more; all of which failed and closed. Main problem: location, location, location: it's hidden away in the middle of a busy industrial area with very very limited parking (made worse at night when street parking is banned as part of general LA plan aimed to preclude homeless overnighters). No visibility from a main road, and set back with poor signage so hard to find even when driving down its own street! However, once you find it and go inside, the club is really nice: when Spearmint Rhino owned it (La Perla?), they spent a boatload of cash remodeling to SR "classy strip club" standards. Wood and brass and marble, etc. Centered stage with one pole, lots of couches and booths for sitting, and lots of lap dance booths. VIP rooms improved, but no privacy or separate booths or even opaque curtains. Just beaded curtains separating bed-like chaise lounges. Cameras too, I believe. Reasonably dark, and in daytimes at least you are often back there by yourself (and staff seems unobtrusive). But not conducive to COI-style fun. I think they had no choice; none of the predecessor clubs had privacy back there so not "grandfathered in" against LA City ordinances passed by City officials with no bigger problems their politics would let them address.
Price is right. Daytime admission free with $6 drink, $15 nude lap dances (though short times; they charge one full song as 2 dances but from what I timed it's about 4.5-5.5 minutes for $30 which is as good as most SoCal clubs. VIPs are $75 10 minute, $100 15 minute and longer for more (don't recall). I have no experience with night time prices or experience, but girls say club is crazy busy, standing room only 12-4AM.
Past problem #2 has been low number of customers leads to low number (and quality) of dancers. The good ones may come for a while, but move to greener pastures. Yet version Red Tie has upped the game on dancer quality, IMO: I've seen maybe 10-12 different girls in maybe 4-5 visits, and only one I'd even call thick (and she had big boobs). All good bodies and attractive, mostly young. Still quiet in days (3-4 customers including me, or less) so girls spend more time chatting than stage dancing. But decent convo from virtually all, not a lot of hard sell or stripper shit. No drink push, staff is low key and non-intrusive (and no longer the Russian mafia look that was a prior club hallmark); manager-bartender some days (thin blonde, Danni?) is also a dancer (and a good one). Also had good dances from Megan and Snow. All good close contact sensual grinds, lots of SSTP and slightly more fun (but within the limits of no privacy). Again, it is ot COI, and if you think it is you will be disappointed. But it can be a fun time, and as good as anything in the San Fernando Valley (unless you hit the jackpot at Rhino Van Nuys, where girls lots hotter but pricing highrer and privacy equally poor). I see this more a a daytime "neighborhood bar" club, like TJs in OC. Hope it lasts.
