A Needed Trip

After a long week, I needed to head out to a club. I had just traveled back from being out of town on business for a couple of days and decided a visit to Dreamgirls at Rick's was in order. I drove into the parking lot and it was busier than usual. I was still able to find a space close to the front door. Went in and paid cover and saw a few dancers loitering near the bar area. They were all lining up for the house dance, but I had just gotten there and still wanted to get my bearings. I ended up finding a spot near the back stage, but still was able to watch the parade of dancers who were in for the evening. As usual not all of the dancers that were there made the walk, but I'm not sure how punitive the club is if a dancer declines to go up. In any case, a friendly blonde waitress came up and got my drink order (no alcohol, only soda).

I saw a few dancers that had pretty good stage routines, including Cupcake and Elle. Forgot the name of the other dancers that caught my eye. I saw Cleo the last time I was there and she had a pretty good stage, but she was not in town this last trip. There was also a big busted girl with a tattoo along the side of her torso and hip who looked great on stage during my last trip. I think her name was Selena (sp?) but she was MIA on this trip as well. Ended up getting a few dances with a couple of girls I knew and had a good night.
