Suprise!

This was my 3rd stop in Tampa. I was staying across the street to make life easier for myself and had already visited Gold Club and Mons earlier in the night. I used to love the Jacksonville Scores (my favorite place), but times have changed up there. Back in the day, I never really enjoyed Tampa Scores. Despite that I was feeling good after a visit to Gold and Mons and wanted more to drink and since there was no place close by to walk, this seemed good enough.

I walked in and the door girl charged me a reasonable fee. I walked in and there seemed to be a big birthday party going on. I remember one of the reasons I never liked this place was how cramped I feel even if there are no people. Mons feels tights because it is just small, this place looks big, but feels small, I don't know if it because of the stage or the chairs or what, but I definitely felt tighter despite less people.

Needless to say this was my best visit there. I sat at the bar and order a shot with the bartender (Jameson for her, Patron for me). Let me state, I don't do shots very often. If I do, I usually get Patron if only because I know exactly how much I can expect. I don't know if it was because if the fake glass that put the taste off or the fact that it wasn't chilled (they said they keep it the freezer), it burned more than normal. Ehh, I settle down with my beer.
