Are all dances/dancers no-touch? In one or both directions? Still not sure, since the dance area is mostly hidden from view, and I did not get to inquire of the more popular dancers. The dances are priced higher than upstairs due to clothing and age levels, but is that also because of or despite contact level?
On this night, at least, the downstairs club featured -- in general, with some exceptions -- a more youthful, fit and energetic lot onstage, compared to Deja Vu one flight up. Since free transfer is allowed between the two clubs, you have nothing to lose except your drink by taking a look around each.
IMHO, the furniture, lighting and acoustics downstairs create a colder and darker but more techno atmosphere. Depends what you like, or if it matters to you.
