Meh
Was driving by this place mid-afternoon on a Wednesday and decided to stop in for a beer, a bite, and some boobs. I guess two out of three ain't bad. When I stepped inside I immediately noticed three things: the club is very dark inside, the jukebox (no DJ in the afternoon) music is pretty loud, and the only female in sight was a somewhat dumpy bartender. I sat down at the bar, ordered a beer and asked to see the menu. I also asked if there were any dancers in the building, since both stages were empty. The bartender told me there were, but it was 45 minutes before anyone came out of the dressing room. And, frankly, the place is so dark, I could barely see if she was attractive or not.
By the time the dancer came out, I was done with my lunch and ready to get going, so I don't have any idea what dances cost at Sunset Strip these days. I will note, however, that the jukebox has been programmed to cut songs off at just under three minutes. Nearly every song i heard, whether the dancer was on stage or not, was cut short.
All in all, the atmosphere was "we don't give a damn whether you're here or not." It'll be a long while before I go back to this club.
