Columbia Just Isn't The Same

First time back to Columbia since the fire. I was never a fan of PW but since it's the only game in town I wanted to give it a try. I arrived around 6 and the place was fairly dead which wasn't a shock. Only a handful of customers and maybe 6 dancers. There were 5 white and 1 AA dancer and they were all around the 6 or 7 range but closer to 6. I was only drinking coke so I'm not sure of the drink prices.

The dancers just seemed disinterested. A couple were with what appeared to be regulars and the others were wandering around. The stage performances were OK and I tipped a couple but there was a lack of energy. I decided to wait a bit and see. By 8 there were around 15 dancers. There were no 9's or 10's but a couple solid 8's. One of the 8's came by and sat down we talked for short time and she was a good conversationalis. Then the topic of dances came up. She started at 40 per dance but I got her down to 30. She explained the new deal with paying the house 5 per song. We went back and the dances were ok. Decent grind but uncle perv the bouncer lurked the whole time. It was quite a buzz kill. She did try to sell me a bottle in the VIP but I couldn't see dropping that kind of money no matter how good of a time we may have had and I was skeptical that it would be fun at all. I hung until 10 talk to a few girls but didn't partake in any dances. I left pretty disappointed.

In summary Columbia used to be the place to go. Now you get less quality for more money. Zero party atmosphere and the dancers look like they think their job is a chore. I really miss the platinum of old and for those of you who partied there 8 or so years ago you know what I mean. I doubt I'll be back
