Visited Planet Rock on a recent trip to Vermont - it's one of the very few clubs in the state. I was here on a Saturday evening, soon after they opened at 7 pm. It is a very laid back place. $10 cover, one main stage and two small platform stages (large tables, really, not quite stages), plus a full bar off to the side. When I arrived there were two dancers there, and a third and fourth came in about 30 minutes later. Friendly atmosphere, and I spent some time chatting with Alex, a very sweet, very cute college student. Apparently, there are only 6 girls working at the club, so I got to see 2/3 of the dancers - they ranged from 5 to 9, all with good attitudes. After some time at the stage, I got a private dance from Alex. Private dances come in two flavors - regular for $20 and VIP for $50. Regular dances are in a small alcove with a curtain, moderate contact, some touching allowed. The VIP adds a brighter room and the dancer picks her own music, and they offer "more contact". I opted for the regular dance, and I was quite satisfied. Overall a fun little club, not up to the level of clubs in big cities, but if you're in the middle of Vermont and don't want to drive up to Canada this place is your best bet.
