Two Visits In Two Days

Haven't been to Phoenix clubs except to Blue Moon in a year so I wanted to gauge the changes. I planned on visiting as many clubs as possible, new and old favourites, in the two days I had along with accomplishing the other tasks that were the real reason for my Arizona visit. Bandaids was on my list as a favourite dive type club along with BM.

I was there at 6 pm on Saturday and again at 10:30 pm on Sunday. I was charged an $8 cover Saturday and no cover on Sunday. Saturday must have still been under daytime rules since I got lots of privacy and everything I was looking for in VIP. On Sunday however, the mileage police were out in full force with two dudes with clipboards standing guard over the VIP area. One of them came to the chairs along the wall in the main dance area and warned me that my breast massaging techniques were offside. OK, that's my cue to leave.

Saturday the beer was $3 and Sunday it was $5. I was patted down Sunday and ID asked for, on Saturday there were no such requirements. Dancers, by the way, ranged from 4's to 7's both days and seemed friendly enough, the rest of the staff, not so much. I will still return though although I'll target dayshift much more closely. Just know that this is very much a dive bar with the clientele and decor that implies in spades.
