I stopped in for the Gold...

I stopped in for the Gold Club opening but didn't have much time so I had a beer and checked things out. All I can say is finally a nice club to go to in southeastern CT. The owners did a great job remodeling. The old pool hall side of the DelMar/Silk Stockings building was turned into the topless/alcohol bar. It has a small stage and a large stage, both with poles. A long bar with 8 flat screen TV's above it. An elevated table/lap dance area and also an elevated champaign area. Everything is brand new including the tiled bathroom. The place opens at 4pm until the week of June 12, 2006 when it will open at 11:30am with a complete lunch menu. There were only about 6 dancers that ranged from hot to ok. I'll have to go back when I have more time to get a better feel. The bartender, who was beautiful said that they are now remodeling the other side of the building to be the all nude/juice bar. That is it for now...I'll be back.
