Nice And Fun, But Getting Stupidly Expensive

Savannah's remains the "premier" gentleman's club of Winston Salem. And by that, I mean the only one I don't feel sketched out in, the only non-smoking one, and by far the most expensive one. They have the most expensive dances I've seen almost anywhere in the country, with 10 minutes running an insane $125. 30 minutes gets a more "standard" $300, and an hour is $500. They have a negotiable champagne room in which you buy the champagne at cost, you get a board of cheeses, and negotiate the price with your dancer. The lower tiers are $40 for one dance (with contact), or 2-for-$60. As I've said before, the 2-for-$60 is the only palatable price for me and isn't unreasonable, though definitely not cheap. They do run occasional 2-for-$40 deals that are down right reasonable, though I didn't time the songs to see if they limited them. FWIW, the dancers get $40 of the $60 and $30 of the $40.

The dancers that evening tended towards white, thin, smallish boobs, and athletic (my type), but I did see one or two women of color, and a couple of more curvy women. In general though I've seen mostly the former when there. Most of the dancers did some level of pole work, and at least three climbed all the way to the ceiling (which is probably 15+ feet in there). The tippers were in rare form that night, with a few big spenders tossing up explosions of cash for most of the dancers. Fun times to be sure for the dancers, but they also get credit for still paying me attention with my measly 3 dollars a song tip. I also couldn't help but chuckle at a back-to-back-to-back run of low-frequency visible spectrum dancers: Violet, Rose, and Scarlet.

In general though tipping at the stage is very low "mileage", often without any physical contact from the dancer. This is in contrast to, say, Treasure Club or Teaser's, in which the dancer will come up to you and usually make some sort of contact, be it rubbing against you, a motor boat, or even just running fingers through your hair.
