Great Facility, But The Girls, Not So Much

Was in the Tar Heel State, must come from the historical use of pine tar in ship building for all I can think of. Was in Raleigh for business, a rare visit to NC. Checked on the board about Raleigh clubs and decided this would be the one that I would try. The reviews were all over the board and the YMMV was the main acronym used by my fellow mongers, so I limited expectations on a Weds night. The cover seemed about right for any club, made my way pass all the specialty areas, pool tables, ping pong, etc. That was something you don't see every day, but all the lipstick in the world is not going to make a pig beautiful unless you be one.

Was seated at a table by a very pretty waitress, so I was thinking that the ladies would be around the same caliber. Ordered the usual Bud Light (need to break out of that mold), and settled in for the evening. The interesting thing was that they had a female DJ, it was different and kind of cool. The first few dancers were ok, nothing to write home to Mom about, like I would ever do that....Mom, I meet a girl, she is a performing artist, etc.

No one special in the first five that went on stage, did have a couple come by and sit for a spell (very southern of me). Did notice one or two that I would have sampled, but they seemed to be tied up with regulars. They did do a review with a 2 for 1, but the lovelies that I did look to have a dance or dances with beelined it to their regulars, alas what is a traveler to do....cut my loses and went to see Red Sparrow with Jennifer Lawrence...at least she did get naked in the movie.
